Olympic Sex

You can't help but admire the physiques of the Olympic athletes in Beijing. An anatomy student could learn a lot from watching them. Every curve, every well-toned muscle declares itself under smooth, youthful skin.

Not one of these athletes is in the least bit flabby, or, dare we whisper, old. And these gorgeous young bods are all out there, in full view; certainly they are in the floor exercise and swimming competitions.

So sexy.

And you can't help but wonder, one can't help but wonder, maybe, on some random occasion,*

What's it like, sex with an Olympic athlete?*

And the answer, at least the only answer I come up with off the top of my head is
On your mark.
Get set.
Go!

*Obviously not any of us, necessarily, would be thinking about sexual behaviors of other people, but some people do

WARNING, my friends. I'm not necessarily going to post comments that aren't in the spirit of uh, sports as we commonly refer to them.

LOL Too funny.

But hang on here...
You mean there's a reason to watch sport besides checking out the hot bods? I knew I was missing something! ;)

I doubt that you'd want to post all the things that went through MY head as I read your blog this morning, so I will keep them to myself! Sigh...They are easy to look at, aren't they? :)

You *know* after the fact you're going to have to judge him on the dismount and whether he stuck the landing.

Make sure you have your large cardboard sheets and sharpies handy.

Love it! Great eye opener for Monday morning!

I have never thought about it until after reading the above. But I am reminiscing about a past relationship with a college track star. I describe him as very firm, with every muscle section defined. His limbs were pretty heavy, considering the weight of his muscle was like a ton. Quite nice to fondle. =)

I remember a movie that the guy said he had a dream about being in the Olympics - except it was sex - and afterwards, there sat his mother at the judges table holding up a card with a "5" on it - he was very angry that she didn't take note of his fabulous dismount...

I think the puns on this post are going to totally ruin me.

I may have an X-blogger rating by the end of the day, which is so ironic, considering how clean we keep things around here.

I was actually just thinking about something similar yesterday as I watched some of the gymnastics. These girls are performing in tight leotards in front of basically the whole world. yet i imagine their values are such that they probably would never pose for a magazine like, lets say, the sports illustrated swimsuit issue. even though its similar coverage in terms of what they are wearing.
I wonder if their coaches, who seem to be older men, ever take advantage of these girls running around in front of them all day half naked. and I wonder if the girls ever feel uncomfortable about the whole world seeing every little part of their body. or if they just consider it part of the game. then again, maybe its just because im frum that i consider what they are wearing to be revealing, and they dont think anything of it at all.

Gives a whole new meaning of going for the "gold".

I was watching the gymnastics last night (although tivo'd from several nights ago) and thinking that they should have used olympic gymnasts to teach us musculoskeletal anatomy!

I read an article about the number of condoms organizers freely handed out at the 04 games in Sydney at the athletic village--it was literally tens of thousands. So, those athletes have ALL kinds of competition on their minds (and elsewhere) over there. And we only get to wonder from afar...Hardly seems fair.

2004 games in Athens. Sorry.

I was thinking the same thing earlier when I was watching men's synchronized diving---I mean, in those tiny speedos (no flab on these guys)...

Do I take this down this post? Someone tell me, please.

I used to swim competitively and can tell you that you quickly forget how little you are wearing.

Ok, scratch that, you forgot until that one girl went walking by and then you scrambled for cover.

High school and college memories, such a life I used to lead. sigh.

I once read somewhere that gymnasts weren't allowed to bathe for sometime before their big performance. Imagine the smell!! That being said, sex with anyone of those swimmers has def. been on my mind far too much these past few days... this swedish guy (cant remember his name, though) just won my heart!! lol.

Nope - just leave up as a social experiment! Unless you are getting lots of scary comments! ;)

THE POINT of this post, the reason I posted it, was that people see skin as sexy.

And although it is sexy, because it is where we feel our bodies come alive to touch, really, it's people who are sexy.

And they don't have to be Olympic athletes, they don't have to be thin, and they don't need big muscles.

In fact (if you read between the lines of the punchline) maybe being an Olympic athlete would get in the way. Speed isn't a plus, it's a minus for this very personal, intimate connectivity.

People don't have to be thin, and they don't have to be muscular.

They just have to take their time, not hurry up, and love one another just the way they are, during this sport.

That's one of the reasons we say, sex is a metaphor for a relationship.

I enjoyed the post and comments and this gets a GP rating because there is nothing offensive here.

Amusing? yes. :)

Thought provoking? yes. :)

Sex is one of out strongest instincts. It's natural to have these thoughts at times running through our minds. As a matter of fact, if i may digress a bit... it is difficult not to see sex everywhere we turn... with all the advertising. SEX sells.. so they use it to sell products, for plot lines and music, etc.

Your question was cute and wholesome by comparison.

I also haven't had my morning coffee yet and so if this is too off track just delete it please. :)

Thanks, Sea. You're right. Sex is everywhere. I guess we might as well discuss it now and then.

Spandex when worn right looks great. And sex is just a part of life. Afterall, we wouldn't be here without it.
